Longbardo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Mortimer swats away the attempt to clinch by Longbardo.
It appears Mortimer was looking to counter with a kick there.
Longbardo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mortimer feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Longbardo sprawling to the canvas! Longbardo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mortimer finish him?!
It looks like Wacco Longbardo has been cut.
Longbardo tries to clinch but Mortimer moves out of range.

Mortimer stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Longbardo.

Longbardo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
No joy there for Longbardo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
It looked like Mortimer wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Longbardo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Wacco Longbardo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mortimer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Longbardo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mortimer, pushing him back against the cage.
Longbardo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Longbardo tries to work over Mortimer's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Mortimer lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Longbardo.
Longbardo breaks from the clinch.
Mortimer lands a brutal uppercut that launches Longbardo off his feet! Longbardo tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
