Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.

McBright with the inside leg kick.
McBright rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ismailov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that McBright has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A solid leg kick lands there for McBright.
McBright throws a nice inside leg kick.
A head kick misses from McBright.
Ismailov shoots and misses
and Ismailov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McBright fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ismailov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
McBright gets caught napping as Ismailov dives in and scores a takedown. McBright manages to retain guard.

Ismailov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into McBright's guard.
McBright has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Ismailov is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! McBright is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! McBright has escaped and now he's on top!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McBright wants to get up but he can't break Ismailov's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
