Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hin Areni (ranked 1491 p4p, 643 weight class) and Gage Underwood (ranked 184 p4p, 81 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Areni might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mosaique. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hin Areni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Gage Underwood!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Underwood misses its intended target.
Underwood loads up on a big right hand but Areni slips the punch.
Areni keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Underwood.
Gage Underwood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Underwood throws out a loose jab but Areni uses good head movement to avoid it.
Areni closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Underwood is not content to let Areni control the position.
Underwood wants to get back to his feet.
Areni drops an elbow to the side of Underwood's head.
Areni throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Areni has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

As Underwood backs away, Areni returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The fighters circle momentarily. Areni darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Underwood lunges at Areni with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Areni's hand.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Underwood is rocked!
Areni cracks Underwood with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Underwood falls to his knees and Areni doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Hin Areni tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
