Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hiro Manowaru (ranked 3 p4p, 65 weight class) and Roar Horse (ranked 1 p4p, 4 weight class). Manowaru kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lay Down. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hiro Manowaru!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roar Horse!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manowaru is looking to land body kicks.
Manowaru throws a jab when Horse was well out of range.
The crowd cheers as Horse lands an impressive looking overhand right. Manowaru doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Hiro Manowaru has been cut.
Horse takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
A swing and a miss from Horse.
Horse looks to throw the jab but Manowaru is out of range.
Manowaru misses the shot to the body.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Horse! But no joy.
Manowaru throws a leg kick which misses Horse's front leg but catches the back leg as Horse tries to avoid it.
Manowaru thows a left - swing and a miss!
Some bone on bone action there as Horse checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horse takes a jab right on the kisser.
Hiro Manowaru seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Manowaru will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

and Horse connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Manowaru is looking to land body kicks.

Horse keeps the fight on the outside.

Manowaru blocks the body kick.
Good standup being displayed there by Horse as he connects with a hook.
Manowaru misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Horse takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Manowaru lands a nice looking body kick.
Manowaru lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Manowaru keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Horse cracks Manowaru with a right hand to the side of the head.
Manowaru connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Manowaru swings for the body but Horse moves out of range.
Horse swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Manowaru looks to land a body kick but Horse moved away.
Horse wants to counter with a clinch but Manowaru pushes him away.
Manowaru blocks a jab.

Horse steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Manowaru.
Manowaru throws a leg kick that misses.
Manowaru has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Horse blocks a jab.
Manowaru closes the distance and clinches.
Manowaru tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Horse's elbow.
Horse lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Manowaru doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Horse works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Horse prevents a body shot from Manowaru.
Manowaru takes a shot to the head.
Horse lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Manowaru.
Manowaru is breathing heavily.
A body shot lands from Horse.
Horse escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Horse - that will leave a mark!

Manowaru moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Horse lands a jab to the nose.
Manowaru attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Horse steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Horse sends Manowaru crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Horse is motioning to the referee to let Manowaru up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Horse is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Manowaru throws a body shot but no joy.
And Horse responds with a good body kick, but Manowaru manages to step out the way in time.
Horse takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Manowaru throws a body kick that misses.
A slow jab from Manowaru misses its intended target.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Horse! But no joy.
Manowaru misses with a body shot
and Horse counters with a big right hand! Oh Manowaru is in trouble here! Horse follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roar Horse!
