PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zach Collins (ranked 2681 p4p, 2282 weight class) and Daniel McCullen (ranked 278 p4p, 249 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Daniel McCullen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel McCullen!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.

and Collins counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Collins tries to free his leg and advance position but McCullen is retaining full guard.

Collins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCullen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

I've been told that McCullen has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game.

Collins tries to close the distance and clinch but McCullen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Daniel McCullen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
