Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Calzattrounewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Calzattrounewis!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Calzattrounewis closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Calzattrounewis stalling.
Jensen wants to improve his position but Calzattrounewis is controlling well.
Jensen is controlling Calzattrounewis's trapped leg to prevent Calzattrounewis from advancing to side control.

Calzattrounewis content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Calzattrounewis stands up and beckons Jensen to join him on the feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Jensen keeps control of Calzattrounewis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Calzattrounewis wants to break free but Jensen has control.
Calzattrounewis is pressed up against the cage. Jensen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Calzattrounewis down to the mat. Calzattrounewis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Calzattrounewis throws the kick towards the body but Jensen avoids it.
Jensen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Calzattrounewis swivels and escapes.

Jensen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Calzattrounewis just stands there and leans against the cage.
Calzattrounewis lands a hook that snaps the head of Jensen backwards.
Calzattrounewis wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Calzattrounewis. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Calzattrounewis lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Calzattrounewis makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Jensen jumps guard but Calzattrounewis stands there with Jensen around his waist. Jensen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jensen is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.

Joe Calzattrounewis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Jensen will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Calzattrounewis up against the cage.

Jensen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Calzattrounewis smiles and moves away.
Jensen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Calzattrounewis tries to hold on but Jensen pushes him away.
Calzattrounewis is wriggling around trying to escape.
Patrick Jensen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jensen lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Joe Calzattrounewis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Calzattrounewis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
