Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doug Cumm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira gets a takedown into half guard.
Nogueira seems to be working for a kimura but Cumm defends the submission attempt.
Cumm tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Cumm flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Nogueira looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Cumm makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cumm.
Nogueira is looking to work some ground and pound but Cumm has wrist control.

Nogueira drops back looking for a leg! Cumm is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cumm manages to kick Nogueira off! Nogueira jumps back into Cumm's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nogueira postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cumm is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nogueira, into his guard.

Cumm stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nogueira swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Doug Cumm will probably get the nod.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nogueira.
Cumm shoots for a double leg takedown but Nogueira sprawls well. He's pushed Cumm's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cumm misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Cumm shoots in and drives through. Nogueira sprawls well.
Cumm scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Nogueira closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cumm to the mat! Cumm manages to get full guard.

Nogueira drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cumm looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cumm looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cumm!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Nogueira gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Nogueira escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cumm gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Cumm wants to control from the top but Nogueira keeps moving.
Nogueira had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Cumm is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nogueira Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Cumm's back instead.
Cumm is really stuck here.

That was a close second round but I would say that Doug Cumm will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Nogueira gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Nogueira is trying to trip Cumm. He has hold of a leg but Cumm is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Nogueira persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Nogueira is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cumm is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cumm has escaped and now he's on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
