Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Hall (ranked 3918 p4p, 5234 weight class) and George Kavanagh (ranked 512 p4p, 609 weight class). Ralph Hall has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ralph Hall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, George Kavanagh! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kavanagh dives in and scores a takedown into Hall's guard. Hall manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kavanagh manages to get himself to full guard.
Hall content to stall in guard here. Kavanagh is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hall being controlled here momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall trying to control but Kavanagh is working from the bottom. Kavanagh wants to control the position but Hall says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Kavanagh is trying to get back to full guard. Hall is working for a kimura but Kavanagh is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kavanagh is controlling Hall's trapped leg to prevent Hall from advancing to side control. Kavanagh wants to control but Hall is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kavanagh is refusing to be controlled, as Hall sits in half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall gets in close and instigates a clinch. A short right from Hall. Hall trying to control the position but instead, Kavanagh has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hall into the ropes. Kavanagh fails to pull guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kavanagh avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Hall is in trouble now - Kavanagh has advanced to mount! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kavanagh tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ralph Hall will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Hall fails with a takedown attempt. Hall forces Kavanagh back against the ropes and clinches. A right hand to the body from Hall.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Kavanagh is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hall seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Kavanagh tries to clinch but Hall moves out of range. Hall wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall clinches with his opponent.
Hall is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kavanagh can do to turn this around? Hall stalls. Hall digs a right hand into Kavanagh's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kavanagh's gas tank. Hall stalling.
Hall ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hall no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Kavanagh content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Hall has locked up a guillotine! Hall's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Kavanagh is holding on here and Hall must be using up a lot of energy. Kavanagh has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Hall gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ralph Hall! Ralph Hall spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
