Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Justin Case (ranked 1674 p4p, 1857 weight class) and Danny Rand (ranked 191 p4p, 211 weight class). Case kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rush - Closer to the Heart. Rand is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Wu Tang-Protect Ya Neck. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Case throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Danny Rand seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rand is looking to chop away at Case's legs.
Case bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Case ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rand moves away.
Rand is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Case seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Case drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Rand goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Rand tries to close the distance and clinch but Case swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Case uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rand.
Case lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rand's sensitive parts.
Rand throws the kick towards the body but Case avoids it.

and Case counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Rand uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Case.

Case closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Rand! Case dives in looking to finish! Rand is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Justin Case!
A very excited looking Justin Case rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Danny Rand stepped up to the mic, saying 'It is what it is, ill be back. '.
