Stevens throws a shot to the body.

Gym moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gym misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Stevens cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Stevens pushes Gym up against the cage in a clinch.

Stevens pushes Gym against the cage. Stevens is working some dirty boxing. Stevens pushes off with a quick right hook! Gym goes down! Gym tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Stevens moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Stevens!
Chris Stevens was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
