Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jerry Beck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ingolf Ulfriksson!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ulfriksson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Beck walks forward, straight into a front kick from Ulfriksson.
Beck throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ulfriksson misses with a head kick.
Ulfriksson throws a nice head kick!
Nice uppercut there from Ulfriksson.

Beck shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Ulfriksson kicks Beck off and gets back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Beck fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ulfriksson to the ground. Beck is now in Ulfriksson's guard.
Beck controls from within his opponent's guard.
Ulfriksson wants to stand but Beck is controlling the position.
Ulfriksson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Beck. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Beck throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ulfriksson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Beck is looking to work some ground and pound but Ulfriksson has wrist control.
Beck engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Ulfriksson has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Beck has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Beck tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ulfriksson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Ulfriksson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Beck is defending well for now.
Ulfriksson using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Beck has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Beck jumps guard and drags Ulfriksson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Ulfriksson wanted to stand there but Beck had control of the position.
Beck is pulling down on Ulfriksson's head to control his posture.

Ulfriksson lying in Beck's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Beck decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Ulfriksson taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
