PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ysuf Raisof (ranked 3352 p4p, 25286 weight class) and Ratchet ODoyle (ranked 382 p4p, 650 weight class). Ratchet ODoyle told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Raisof circles away from the clinch attempt.

ODoyle digs a right hand underneath Raisof's ribcage. Raisof let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Raisof is trying to drag ODoyle to the mat but ODoyle just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Raisof tries for a takedown but ODoyle manages to get underhooks.

Raisof keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of ODoyle's head.

Raisof is taking a breather. ODoyle says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Raisof in particular looking to stall.

Raisof has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Raisof's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Raisof uses his free foot to push down on ODoyle's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for ODoyle.
