Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ben Maples (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dario Cvitanich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ben Maples has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ben Maples seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Maples moves in looking to clinch but Cvitanich pushes him off.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Maples counters with a head kick. That will keep Cvitanich thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cvitanich misses with a hook.
Cvitanich throws a lazy right hand but Maples sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Cvitanich might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cvitanich looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Maples with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
