Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Fisher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vance Kincaid!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher shoots in for a double leg but Kincaid sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fisher shoots in looking for a takedown. Kincaid tries to sprawl out of it but Fisher keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kincaid manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fisher shoots in but Kincaid avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Fisher. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kincaid moves in looking to clinch but Fisher pushes him off.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kincaid lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!


It looks like John Fisher has been cut.

Kincaid pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A head kick from Kincaid lands but Fisher takes it in his stride.

Kincaid stalks Fisher and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Fisher's face. Fisher staggers backwards, shaken.
Fisher swats away the attempt to clinch by Kincaid.
Kincaid throws a head kick that Fisher semi-blocks.

Fisher takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Kincaid lands with a slapping head kick.
Kincaid throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.


John Fisher's cut is getting worse.

Kincaid pushes Fisher up against the cage in a clinch.
Kincaid lands a body shot.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Fisher. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Fisher takes an elbow to the temple.

Fisher avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Fisher misses with a series of wild punches.
Kincaid shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fisher as he avoids it easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kincaid has managed to clinch.
Fisher jumps guard but Kincaid stands there with Fisher around his waist. Fisher gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kincaid is pressed up against the cage. Fisher has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kincaid down to the mat. Kincaid avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Kincaid clinches up with Fisher and pushes him back against the cage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Fisher has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fisher accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fisher is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kincaid is just riding it out for now. Fisher eventually gives up the hold.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Fisher.
I think Fisher has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
