Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peter Golles (ranked 2852 p4p, 3976 weight class) and Magomed Bankalaev (ranked 357 p4p, 474 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Magomed Bankalaev!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Golles presses Bankalaev against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Golles creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Bankalaev looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Golles with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Bankalaev is nestled in close to Golles, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Bankalaev working over Golles with some ground and pound. Golles looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Bankalaev is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Golles doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bankalaev.

Golles throws a big counter combination but Bankalaev scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Bankalaev shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Golles napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Bankalaev is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Golles is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Golles is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bankalaev is controlling him well.

Golles explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Bankalaev feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Golles, as that shot connected.

Bankalaev is trying to drag Golles to the mat but Golles just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Golles tries to work over Bankalaev's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Golles throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bankalaevs head.
