Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Fuller (ranked 4553 p4p, 6947 weight class) and Hugh Saber (ranked 578 p4p, 679 weight class). Hugh Saber acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Fuller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hugh Saber! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Hugh Johnson and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saber loads up on a big right hand but Fuller slips the punch. Saber tries to keep at a distance but Fuller has taken the fight into the clinch. Fuller tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Saber avoids it. Fuller turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Fuller manages to end up in side control. Saber manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Saber is looking to advance position but Fuller won't allow it. Fuller is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Saber looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Fuller makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Fuller. Fuller looking for a sweep. Not yet Fuller, not yet. Fuller throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Fuller lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fuller is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Saber looking for a guillotine here but Fuller defends easily.
Saber avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fuller slips nicely into half guard. Fuller is nestled in close to Saber, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Fuller lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Saber is trying to get back to full guard. Saber looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Fuller working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ground and pound from Fuller. Still in half guard, Fuller seems content to control. Saber won't allow Fuller to pass to mount. Saber looking for submissions off his back. Saber wants to get back to full guard. Saber is looking to get back to is feet but Fuller passes into side control.
You can see the frustration on Saber's face as Fuller controls the position. Fuller is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Saber knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Fuller in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
It looks like Hugh Saber has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fuller creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Fuller landing a few strikes. Fuller landing a few strikes.
Saber is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Saber is still in real trouble! Can Fuller finish him? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd goes nuts as Fuller knocks Saber out cold with a massive hammerfist! Fuller Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). John Fuller! After the fight, John Fuller was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
