Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Weston Hodkiewicz (ranked 3943 p4p, 24517 weight class) and Rayne Dame (ranked 514 p4p, 765 weight class). Hodkiewicz's entrance music is Big Pimpin'. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Hodkiewicz lands a really nice looking cross but Dame seems unphased.
A shot to the body from Hodkiewicz misses
and Dame counters with a straight right hand.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hodkiewicz darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Hodkiewicz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dame sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Hodkiewicz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dame is wriggling around trying to escape.
Dame tries to buck Hodkiewicz off but he can't manage it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hodkiewicz jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Dame manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Hodkiewicz has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Dame is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hodkiewicz yanks on the arm and Dame is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hodkiewicz.
