This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 4 losses; Able Archer! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 9 losses; Bjj Steel!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Archer moves into the clinch.
Archer goes for a takedown in the clinch but Steel prevents it.
Steel is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Archer pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Steel is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Archer gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Archer jumps guard and drags Steel to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Archer isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Steel stacks Archer on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Steel!

Archer has his foot on Steel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Steel works his way back into a safe position though.

Steel can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Archer controls the pace.
