Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sun Tzu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Souza kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sandstorm. Sun Tzu will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Tzu or perhaps it was just good defense by Souza which made him look bad.
Souza looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Tzu shoots for a takedown but Souza saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Tzu shoots in and drives through. Souza sprawls well.
Rafael Souza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sun Tzu.
No luck for Tzu with that takedown attempt.
Tzu shoots in looking for a takedown. Souza tries to sprawl out of it but Tzu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Souza manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Souza closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Souza lands in his opponent's guard.
Souza drops back looking for a leg! Tzu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tzu manages to kick Souza off! Souza jumps back into Tzu's guard.
Tzu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Souza doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Souza manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Souza is posturing up here but Tzu has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Souza tries to roll out but it's too tight and Souza has to tap! Slick submission there by Tzu!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Sun Tzu!
