Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between TJ Kool (ranked 5913 p4p, 4323 weight class) and Issac Vernon (ranked 555 p4p, 475 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, TJ Kool!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Issac Vernon!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vernon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Kool gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Vernon tries to stall but Kool uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
The referee calls for Vernon to work.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Kool misses with the head strike.
Kool has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Vernon is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kool wants a takedown but no success here.
Kool lands a hook that snaps the head of Vernon backwards.
Kool's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vernon wants to break the clinch but can't.
Vernon lands a hook that snaps the head of Kool backwards.
Vernon is defending well against a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for TJ Kool. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Vernon breaks from the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vernon throws a hook to the side of Kool's head but Kool sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Vernon has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kool finds it's way round the side to connect with Vernon's head.
TJ Kool seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kool moves out of range as Vernon strikes.
Kool takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kool keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kool looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kool throws the left hand but Vernon avoids the punch easily.

Kool looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Vernon!

Kool has hold of Vernon's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Vernon seems comfortable defending it but Kool has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Vernon is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Vernon is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kool couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). TJ Kool!
A very excited looking TJ Kool rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
