Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ahmad Gulyas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anthony Lavicci!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.

Lavicci shoots in for a takedown but Gulyas shows good takedown defense.
Lavicci shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gulyas's guard.
Lavicci content to stall in guard here.
Gulyas wants to sweep here but Lavicci controlling him for the moment.
Lavicci tries to free his leg and advance position but Gulyas is retaining full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lavicci prevents Gulyas from getting back to his feet.
Gulyas can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lavicci controls the pace.
Lavicci stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gulyas swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lavicci slips nicely into half guard.
Lavicci is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Gulyas!
Gulyas is trying to escape the mount but Lavicci keeps good control and instead manages to take Gulyas's back.
Gulyas is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Gulyas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lavicci on the ground.
It looks like Lavicci might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Gulyas tries to break free.
Lavicci is cranking Gulyas's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Gulyas! He's tightened the choke and Gulyas is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Anthony Lavicci!
