The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A combination from Bones does no damage.
Bones fails to land with a series of punches.
The fighters circling - Bones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Roger Bones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lecter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bones swivels and escapes.

Bones throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lecter on the side of the head.

Bones clobbers Lecter with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Bones throws a right and a left that Lecter avoids nicely.
Lecter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bones's waist but Bones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lecter off to one side.

Bones throws a series of punches but Lecter moves out of range.

and Lecter counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Lecter drops back looking for a leg! Bones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bones manages to kick Lecter off! Lecter jumps back into Bones's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bones can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lecter stands up and waves to Bones to follow him.

Lecter fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lecter manages to avoid it.
Bones takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

and Lecter counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lecter prevents Bones from getting back to his feet.
Lecter thows a big elbow that misses.
Lecter throws a strike but Bones rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bones wants to stand and escape but instead Lecter has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Lecter is pushing down on Bones's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bones is fighting to maintain full guard but Lecter has managed to sneak the leg through.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Hannibal Lecter will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Bones misses with a looping left.
Lecter shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bones's guard.
Lecter is looking to stand up but Bones won't let him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lecter looking to sit in guard and control but Bones gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Lecter wants to improve his position but instead Bones has moved into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Bones throwing shots but Lecter is blocking nicely.

Bones wants to stand up but Lecter has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Bones is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Bones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bones postures up in Lecter's guard and throws a big left but Lecter blocks it.
Lecter looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Lecter is looking to escape.
It looks like Bones is going to stand back up.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lecter pushes Bones off looking to stand but Bones dives back in and keeps control.
