Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ethan Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Razz Matazz!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.

Matazz on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Hunt scores with a hook.
Nice uppercut there from Hunt.
Hunt lands a glancing blow to the side of Matazz's head.

Matazz shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Hunt is defending against the submission attempts here by Matazz.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Matazz lands with a punch from half guard.

Matazz is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Matazz is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Matazz looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Matazz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hunt is just riding it out for now. Matazz eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hunt tries to kick Matazz off but Matazz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Matazz is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hunt defends it well.
Matazz landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Matazz scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Hunt makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hunt.
Matazz prevents Hunt from getting back to his feet.
Matazz trying to move into half guard but instead Hunt has managed to sweep!


Matazz isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hunt stacks Matazz on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hunt!
Hunt tries to move into full mount but can't pass Matazz's legs.
Matazz is trying to work for a sweep but Hunt has mounted him!

Matazz is working to get back to half guard.
Matazz looks winded!
Matazz tries to improve his position but instead Hunt has taken his back!
Hunt wants to control but Matazz is keeping busy.
Matazz is trying to get back to his feet but Hunt has full control of the position and if anything, Matazz has just worked his way into a worse spot.
You can see the frustration on Matazz's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Matazz looking very determined here, making life difficult for Hunt.
Hunt controls the action.

Matazz trying to get back to his feet but Hunt is in full control for now.

Matazz is squirming around looking to escape but he's just wriggling himself into more trouble. Hunt sinks in the hooks and manages to tighten his grip on a rear naked choke. Matazz has no choice but to tap and Hunt jumps to his feet to celebrate and slick submission win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ethan Hunt!
An out of breath Ethan Hunt thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
