Horrible takedown attempt by Miz or perhaps it was just good defense by Vorotinski, which made it look bad. Vorotinski connects with a body shot that sends Miz's belly button to the back. Miz looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Miz has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Vorotinski defend it? Miz steps over the head and cranks it - Vorotinski is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Miz!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Fits Miz! Fits Miz took some time post fight to say the following; 'I won with experience, I had more fights more skills I just outmatched him. I hope my opponent keeps fighting and training cause he's so young he could easily become a big problem in the future. Now that this fight is over with I want to fight Cezary "Polish Tank" Kesik after he is done with Teiji, '.
