Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brooklin Rider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is AC/DC - Back in Black. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brooklin Rider!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rider moves out of range of the strikes.
Rider shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rider showed some decent athleticism there.
Rider is thwarting Black's attempts to control the position.
Rider is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Black sees it coming and defends easily.
Rider looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Rider is looking for a kimura here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rider looking for a submission but Black manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Rider trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Rider wants to control from the top but Black keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rider fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Rider misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Black loads up on a big right hand but Rider slips the punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Black thuds a left hand into Rider's body.
Rider looks gassed!
Rider takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Brooklin Rider has been cut.
Black throws a nice looking combination but Rider bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rider takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Black scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Rider looks up at the clock. Bad move! Black lands a right hand from hell, dropping Rider. Black pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lucas Black!
