Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nathan Dylan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dan Norway!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Norway slips a straight right by Dylan.
Dylan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Norway.
Dylan throws a big counter combination but Norway scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Norway shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Dylan jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Norway swings widly with a right hand
and Norway takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dylan scores with a crisp jab that stopped Norway in his tracks.

Norway is rocked!
Dylan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Norway stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dylan.
Norway throws a nice looking combination but Dylan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dylan feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Norway lands a right hook to the body.

Dylan clinches up with Norway and pushes him back against the cage.
The referee calls for Dylan to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dylan gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
Dylan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Norways head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Norway looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Dylan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Norway digs a good hook to Dylan's body.
Norway takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Dylan clinches up with Norway and pushes him back against the cage.
Dylan is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Norway slows down the pace here.

I was talking to Dylan's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Dylan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dylan connects with a solid leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Norway with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dylan to score with a decent uppercut.
Norway tries to land a leg kick but Dylan saw it coming and moves away.

Dylan gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Dylan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dylan feints and then cracks Norway's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Norway down.

Dylan cracks Norway with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dylan has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Norway to stand back up!
Norway is still on wobbly legs! Can Dylan finish him?

It looks like Dan Norway has been cut.
Dylan weaves into range and cracks Norway right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Norway goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Dylan is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nathan Dylan!
After the fight, Nathan Dylan was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
