Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between KarateO Masuta (ranked 21544 p4p, 3132 weight class) and Ron Burgundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masuta comes to the cage accompanied by We Can Dance . Masuta has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Ron Burgundy has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with KarateO Masuta 's chin.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Burgundy throws a leg kick that misses.
Burgundy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Masuta moves away.
It looked like Masuta was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Burgundy cracks Masuta with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Masuta looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Burgundy finish him?
Masuta is rocked!
It looks like KarateO Masuta has been cut.
Burgundy is stalking Masuta . Masuta circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Burgundy, and it's lights out! Masuta really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ron Burgundy!
Post fight, Ron Burgundy took to the microphone: 'In my last fight i said i would retire but i cant go out on a loss. When i was offered the fight against Mike Smith i had to take it. Nice to go out with a devestating KO. Sorry Mike but i knew i would KO you silly. Speedy recovery!'.
In defeat, KarateO Masuta stepped up to the mic, saying 'Arigoto'.
