Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Cozad (ranked 5526 p4p, 5557 weight class) and Tourny Two (ranked 482 p4p, 486 weight class). Cozad comes to the cage accompanied by Nothin' But A G Thang- Dr. Dre ft. Snoop Dogg. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Cozad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tourny Two! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cozad shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Two looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Cozad wants to control from the top but Two keeps moving. Cozad looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Two throws his legs up looking for a submission but Cozad uses it to pass to side control.
Two really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cozad. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cozad is looking to take a break and control but Two is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Two is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Cozad is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Two throwing hammer fists to the chest of Cozad. What's that going to do exactly? Cozad is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Two to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Two shrugs it off. Two has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Cozad's lack of action.
Cozad seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Two wants to control but Cozad is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cozad wants to pass to mount but Two is defending the position. Two is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Two trying to control but Cozad postures up.
Two on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Two is trying to get back to full guard. Cozad wants to lay and pray for a moment but Two keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Two won't allow Cozad to pass to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cozad is looking for a kimura here.
Two has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cozad is working away from the top position though. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Two shoots in and bounces Cozad off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Cozad wants to get back to his feet but Two passes into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cozad wants to get back to his feet. Two is thwarting Cozad's attempts to control the position. Two is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Two is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Cozad! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cozad regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Cozad dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Cozad rushes Two and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Two turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Two manages to end up in side control. You can see the frustration on Cozad's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Two decides to stand up, so the ref orders Cozad to his feet. Two misses with a takedown attempt - Cozad sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Cozad gets a double leg takedown into Two's guard. Two not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cozad will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Cozad trying to control the position from guard on top but Two is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Two controls Cozad momentarily but Cozad frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Two tries to land a sweep but no joy. Cozad looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Two looking for a guillotine here but Cozad defends easily.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Cozad thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Cozad misses with a combination
and Cozad takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Cozad fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Two, pushing him back against the cage. Two fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Two tries to pull guard but Cozad forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Mike Cozad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tourny Two. Cozad is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Cozad decides to pull guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Two trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Cozad manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Two escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cozad gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cozad sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Two's guard. Two tries to get to full guard but Cozad has control of the leg. Cozad is looking to advance position but Two won't allow it. Two is looking to control Cozad's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Two avoid being mounted? Cozad wants to pass to mount but Two is defending the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Two is looking to escape. Two missing with punches from the bottom.

Cozad trying to control from half guard but Two is working away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cozad fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Two to the ground. Cozad is now in Two's guard. Two looking for a sweep. Not yet Two, not yet. Two can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cozad controls the pace. Two wants to sweep but no luck. Two escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cozad gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Cozad loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Two looking for a sweep. Not yet Two, not yet.

Cozad working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Cozad is looking to take a break and control but Two is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Two is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cozad's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cozad's back! You can see the frustration on Cozad's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Two struggling to land strikes to the head as Cozad covers up. Two working for a choke but Cozad reverses nicely into Two 's guard. Two keeping moving, preventing Cozad from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cozad trying to stand up but can't free himself from Two's guard. Two looking for a sweep. Not yet Two, not yet. Two trying to keep a closed guard but Cozad is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Two has his foot on Cozad's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cozad works his way back into a safe position though. Cozad's corner is telling him to maintain position. Cozad wants to stand but Two has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Two looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Cozad is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Two can do to turn this around? Two showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Tourny Two has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Two trying to control but Cozad is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Cozad. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cozad, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
