Goku throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Clemens is looking to counter with a body kick.
Goku stuns Clemens with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Son Goku seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clemens scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Goku closes the distance but Clemens moves to the side
and Clemens counters with a nice body kick.

and Clemens makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Clemens smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

A slow jab from Goku misses its intended target.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Goku has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Clemens drops Goku with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Goku! Clemens dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Samuel Clemens was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
