A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Franco.
Waldo is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Waldo has eaten all the pies!

Franco stalks Waldo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Waldo's face. Waldo staggers backwards, shaken.

Waldo is working for takedown but Franco is calmly controlling the position for now.
Chad Franco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wosay Waldo.

Franco is pushing Waldo up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Franco feints and then cracks Waldo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Waldo down.

Franco seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Franco unloads a knee to the mid-section. Waldo lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Whack! Franco lands a heavy head kick that drops Waldo. The ref tackles Franco to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Waldo was done.
