Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jose Canseco (ranked 3718 p4p, 4652 weight class) and Miguel Rodolfo (ranked 140 p4p, 168 weight class). Canseco comes to the cage accompanied by Lenarr Young - I gotta take a doo doo. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Canseco ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Miguel Rodolfo! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.

and Canseco counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Rodolfo shoots in but Canseco avoids the takedown attempt easily. Canseco gets caught napping as Rodolfo dives in and scores a takedown. Canseco manages to retain guard. Rodolfo loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Canseco wants to stand but Rodolfo is controlling the position. Canseco avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Canseco wants to stand and escape but Rodolfo is having none of it. Rodolfo makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Canseco scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Rodolfo misses with a takedown and Rodolfo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jose Canseco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miguel Rodolfo.
That's one minute gone in the round. No joy there for Rodolfo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rodolfo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Canseco tries to avoid it but Rodolfo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Canseco to the ground. Canseco escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Canseco throws a big counter combination but Rodolfo scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Rodolfo moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Rodolfo drives through with a takedown into guard. Canseco wants to stand but Rodolfo is controlling the position. Canseco trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Canseco is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Kalashnikov ELITE MMA Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Canseco knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rodolfo on the ground. That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rodolfo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Canseco is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rodolfo is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rodolfo stands up over Canseco , holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Canseco avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Rodolfo pushing down on Canseco 's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Rodolfo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Canseco is just riding it out for now. Rodolfo eventually gives up the hold. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Canseco tries to kick Rodolfo off but Rodolfo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Rodolfo wants to pass the guard but Canseco is defending well. Rodolfo stops Canseco from getting back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rodolfo scoring with strikes to the body and head. Rodolfo moves nicely into side control. Rodolfo cracks Canseco with an elbow. That is naaassty. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rodolfo prevents Canseco from escaping the position. Rodolfo lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Rodolfo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Canseco knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Rodolfo working the ground and pound. Rodolfo in side control lands a decent elbow. That's four minutes gone in the round. Rodolfo lands a nice forearm strike. This has been an exciting period of action! Canseco taking a bit of punishment here - Rodolfo scoring with strikes. Rodolfo lands a decent elbow from side control. Canseco is trying to get back to his feet. Rodolfo working the ground and pound. Canseco is pushing Rodolfo's head away, looking to escape. Rodolfo manages to hold on to the position though. Rodolfo scores with a couple of short elbows. Canseco is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Rodolfo lands some shots froms side control. Canseco is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Rodolfo asserts his dominance and retains side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miguel Rodolfo dominated that round. That's time! Canseco 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Rodolfo looks for a takedown but Canseco sprawls well. Rodolfo has hold of Canseco 's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Canseco seems comfortable defending it but Rodolfo has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Canseco is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Canseco is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Rodolfo couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Miguel Rodolfo! After winning the bout, Miguel Rodolfo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. In defeat, Jose Canseco stepped up to the mic, saying 'Fucking CTE'.
