Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Herve Cabrera (ranked 5387 p4p, 3183 weight class) and Ruslan Varlamov (ranked 465 p4p, 336 weight class). Ruslan Varlamov told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ruslan Varlamov!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.

Cabrera lands a really nice looking cross but Varlamov seems unphased.
Nice straight punches there by Cabrera. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Cabrera.
Cabrera moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Varlamov fails with a takedown attempt.
Cabrera seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Cabrera catches Varlamov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Cabrera fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Cabrera clobbers Varlamov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Varlamov darts in looking for a takedown but Cabrera gets double underhooks and turns Varlamov into the cage.
Cabrera lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Varlamov goes down and covers up as Cabrera starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Herve Cabrera!
Herve Cabrera spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
