Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Didi Hamman (ranked 2756 p4p, 4468 weight class) and Brutalis Rhino (ranked 392 p4p, 567 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Didi Hamman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brutalis Rhino!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight stays on the outside here - Hamman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rhino throws a fast counter high kick but Hamman manages to duck under it in time.
Rhino getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Hamman takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Rhino missing with a left hand there. Hamman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hamman looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Hamman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hamman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rhino paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hamman has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rhino changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hamman fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Hamman takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rhino falls off balance throwing a combination

and Hamman counters by clinching up.
Rhino goes for a takedown attempt but Hamman pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Rhino tries for a takedown but Hamman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Didi Hamman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brutalis Rhino.

Hamman clinches.

Hamman breaks the clinch.
Rhino tests Hamman's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hamman jabs Rhino to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hamman swings for the body but Rhino moves out of range.
A little jabbing left from Rhino on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Rhino tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hamman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rhino somewhat.
Rhino takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rhino misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Rhino clinches.
Rhino has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Hamman looking to throw knees to the head but Rhino is blocking nicely.

Hamman connects with a knee to the head.
Hamman throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rhino blocks it with crossed arms.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rhino is trying to drag Hamman to the mat but Hamman just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Hamman misses with a hook to the ribs.
Rhino takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Brutalis Rhino has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hamman unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Rhino tries to score a body lock takedown but Hamman shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Hamman scores with a hook to the body.
Rhino looks winded!

Hamman lands a good knee to the midsection. Rhino won't want to take too many of those.
Rhino is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Rhino is rocked!
Hamman lands a big knee to the head and Rhino goes down! Hamman pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Didi Hamman!
A very excited looking Didi Hamman rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
