Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo De Lima (ranked 1162 p4p, 2005 weight class) and Drapton Heed (ranked 137 p4p, 221 weight class). De Lima comes to the cage accompanied by Linkin Park - Numb. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodrigo De Lima! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Drapton Heed! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Heed misses. An attempted straight right counter from De Lima misses the target. Heed throws an off balance right hand
and De Lima counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. De Lima uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Heed. Heed misses the shot to the body. De Lima moves out of range as Heed strikes. Heed pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Heed avoids the body shot from De Lima.
Heed throws out a counter right but De Lima avoids it with no problem. Heed misses with a body punch
and De Lima counters with a three punch combo that has Heed backing up. Heed nods at De Lima to acknowledge the strikes. Heed throws an off balance right hand
and De Lima counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Heed throws an off balance right hand
and Heed takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. De Lima shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Heed is trying to defend but De Lima finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. De Lima seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Lima seems to be working for a kimura but Heed defends the submission attempt. De Lima is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Heed doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time De Lima. De Lima is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Heed is just riding it out for now. De Lima eventually gives up the hold.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. De Lima is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. De Lima works his way into full mount! Heed tries to reverse the position but De Lima maintains control. De Lima swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Rodrigo De Lima! Jumping up and down and very excited, Rodrigo De Lima waved his t-shirt featuring Urban Fighter's logo in front of the cameras.
