Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wesley Bronkhorst (ranked 4783 p4p, 4824 weight class) and Leo Barrett (ranked 81 p4p, 78 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Wesley Bronkhorst! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Leo Barrett! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bronkhorst closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barrett is looking for a sweep. Barrett is trying to control Bronkhorst's posture but Bronkhorst avoids it. Bronkhorst tries to move into full mount but can't pass Barrett's legs. Barrett struggling a bit here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barrett is trying to escape the position but Bronkhorst is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barrett tries to buck Bronkhorst off but Bronkhorst is having none of it. Bronkhorst working away.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bronkhorst gets caught flat footed, as Barrett shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Bronkhorst pulls Barrett in close to prevent any damage. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Barrett not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Barrett pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bronkhorst is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bronkhorst is controlling Barrett's posture. Bronkhorst on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bronkhorst tries to get out of the position. Barrett postures up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Barrett seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Barrett fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bronkhorst to the ground. Barrett is now in Bronkhorst's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Leo Barrett. Well Barrett has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
