Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam Ng (ranked 2237 p4p, 2031 weight class) and Jimi Tank (ranked 279 p4p, 252 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Adam Ng! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jimi Tank! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ng defending well as Tank loads up on a big left hand. Ng half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Tank will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Tank tried to score with a low kick but Ng checks it. Ng closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tank did well to prevent Ng getting side control. Ng has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Still in half guard, Ng seems content to control. Tank is not content to let Ng control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ng is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tank defends it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ng takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Ng prevents Tank from standing back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ng slows the pace down in half guard. Ng maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Tank could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Ng has cracked it and Tank is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Ng!
