Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Torcadall Sailcirc (ranked 1372 p4p, 966 weight class) and Robert Drummond (ranked 207 p4p, 153 weight class). Sailcirc's entrance music is THE SCOTTS. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Torcadall Sailcirc! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robert Drummond ! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sailcirc goes for a double leg but Drummond avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Drummond continues to drive forward. Sailcirc dives in and grabs Drummond 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Drummond pushes down on Sailcirc's head and hops out. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Drummond ! But no joy. Sailcirc feints and as Drummond raises his hands in defense, Sailcirc changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Drummond wants to stand and escape but Sailcirc is having none of it. Drummond is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Drummond wants to sweep here but Sailcirc controlling him for the moment. Drummond keeping full guard, as Sailcirc tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drummond has Sailcirc pulled in close to control his posture. Drummond is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drummond bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sailcirc's guard. Sailcirc trying to control the position.
Sailcirc is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Drummond defends well. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Drummond won't allow Sailcirc to sweep him here. Drummond loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Drummond keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sailcirc's head. Drummond connects with a couple of short punches. Drummond cracks Sailcirc with a solid left hand. Drummond postures up in Sailcirc's guard and throws a big left but Sailcirc blocks it. Drummond throws a strike but Sailcirc rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Sailcirc looking to sit in guard and control but Drummond gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Drummond postures up and lands a big shot to Sailcirc's brow. Sailcirc looking for a guillotine here but Drummond defends easily.

Drummond stands up over Sailcirc, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Drummond working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Sailcirc's head. Drummond is in close to Sailcirc's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drummond with a flurry of punches that miss. Sailcirc looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sailcirc is really struggling to control Drummond but he's trying to hold on to the position. Drummond is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. We've been hearing good reports from Sailcirc's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Sailcirc keeping moving, preventing Drummond from controlling successfully. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Drummond is working Sailcirc over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Sailcirc looking to control.
Drummond cracks Sailcirc with a solid left hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert Drummond dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Drummond with a hook. Drummond misses with a straight left. Drummond throws a low kick but Sailcirc avoids it. Drummond tests Sailcirc's chin there with a solid looking shot. Crunch! Drummond slams his shin into Sailcirc's torso. Drummond loads up on a big right hand but Sailcirc slips the punch. Drummond throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Drummond defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sailcirc. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drummond throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Jab from Drummond . Drummond pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Drummond comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd cheers as Drummond lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sailcirc doesn't seem phased though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sailcirc takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Sailcirc is rocked! Drummond misses with a hook
enabling Sailcirc to counter with a crisp jab. Oh Sailcirc is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Drummond looks to throw a body kick and Sailcirc counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sailcirc seems to have got his legs back now. Good exchange - Drummond coming out on top. Robert Drummond seems to be getting the better of the standup. Drummond misses with a few strikes there.
Sailcirc lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Drummond throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Drummond 's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sailcirc under the eye. Drummond scores with a nice right hand.

and Sailcirc connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Drummond catches Sailcirc with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Drummond lands with a good body shot. Sailcirc shoots in for a takedown but Drummond shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Drummond scores with a nice head shot. Drummond throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Sailcirc connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Robert Drummond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sailcirc shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Drummond throws an overhand right that lands on Sailcirc's shoulder, as Sailcirc tries to avoid the shot. Drummond lands a big shot that drops Sailcirc! Can he finish him?

Sailcirc wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Drummond is now in half guard. Drummond looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sailcirc with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Drummond takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Drummond working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Nice strikes from Drummond there. Drummond lands a big elbow - Sailcirc is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Drummond !
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Drummond ! Robert Drummond decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
