Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Erikson (ranked 1377 p4p, 1278 weight class) and Takashi Shimura (ranked 160 p4p, 150 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Erikson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gåte - Statt Opp. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Shimura cracks Erikson with an uppercut from hell and Erikson crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Shimura's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

After the fight, Takashi Shimura was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
