Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shane Murphy (ranked 5561 p4p, 2692 weight class) and Marko Rakic (ranked 578 p4p, 350 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Rakic's choice of entrance music: Right Above It. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Shane Murphy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Marko Rakic! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. This is the final round! Rakic tries to bum rush Murphy with a series of wild strikes but Murphy uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Murphy is looking to counter with head kicks. Rakic lands a two punch combo.
Rakic closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Murphy wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A nice left hand lands by Rakic.

He pushes Rakic off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. This has been an exciting period of action! Murphy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rakic gets a clinch. Rakic has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Murphy clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Murphy just trying to survive but Rakic is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murphy is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rakic is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Can Murphy hold on?! Rakic is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Murphy wants to control his opponent's hands but Rakic gets his hands free. Rakic lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Rakic is landing with strikes from the back. The referee is taking a good look at Murphy as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Rakic!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marko Rakic! A relieved looking Marko Rakic thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
