Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ade Absame (ranked 4561 p4p, 3129 weight class) and Ruddo Ryokale (ranked 207 p4p, 158 weight class). Ruddo Ryokale acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ade Absame! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ruddo Ryokale! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.

Absame fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Absame looks to land a combination but Ryokale avoids it well. Ryokale tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Absame defends well and Ryokale ends up having to push Absame into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Ryokale fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Absame avoids it really well and circles away. Absame is looking to counter punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryokale is looking to clinch. Absame feinted with a counter takedown. Ryokale misses with a double jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryokale slips a jab from Absame. Ryokale wants to clinch. Ryokale moves away from the strike by Absame. Absame throws the left hand but Ryokale avoids the punch easily. Ryokale tries to clinch up. Absame was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Ryokale shoots for a takedown but Absame saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ade Absame has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ruddo Ryokale.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ryokale is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Absame.
It looks like Ruddo Ryokale has been cut. Absame throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Absame is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ryokale. Ryokale has Absame up against the cage in a clinch.
Ryokale ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ryokale no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ryokale working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Absame. Ryokale throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Absame trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Absame content to stall in guard here. Absame postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ryokale looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Absame has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Absame passes easily into side control. Nice work. Absame tries to move to mount but Ryokale blocks the move with his legs. Ryokale tries to buck Absame off but Absame is having none of it. Absame is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ryokale knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Ryokale wants to control but Absame postures up. I wouldn't like to be where Ryokale is right now. Ryokale is letting Absame control him for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Absame thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Ryokale is not content to let Absame control the position. Ryokale pushes Absame away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Absame gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Ryokale struggling a bit here. Absame wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ryokale, who protects the arm well. Ryokale is looking for a sweep. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Absame thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Absame in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ade Absame dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ruddo Ryokale's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Jab by Absame. Ryokale looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Absame throwing a counter right hand but Ryokale manages to avoid it. Ryokale takes a shot right to the bread basket. Absame misses with an uppercut. Ryokale saw that one coming. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Absame tries to keep at a distance but Ryokale has taken the fight into the clinch. Ryokale has Absame pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Absame manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Absame is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ryokale can do to turn this around? Ryokale looking for a takedown. Ade Absame has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ruddo Ryokale.

Ryokale is looking to control Absame's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ryokale avoid being mounted? Ryokale keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Absame scoring with strikes to the body and head. Ryokale is staying active underneath Absame, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ryokale looking for submissions off his back. Absame thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ryokale's head. Absame wants to work for an arm triangle but Ryokale is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Absame throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Absame is pressing down on Ryokale's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ryokale is holding on for now. Ryokale wants to improve his position but Absame is controlling well.
Absame looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Absame lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Ade Absame overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Absame is looking for a kimura but Ryokale is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Absame to get the leverage. Ryokale is looking to control Absame's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ryokale avoid being mounted? Absame is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Ryokale as he works his way to full guard.
Absame is in close to Ryokale's body, working some short punches and elbows. Ryokale wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Absame trying to control but Ryokale is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Absame stays in close to Ryokale's body and controls the position. Ryokale not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Absame lands a couple of elbows. Ryokale tries to land a sweep but no joy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ryokale throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Ade Absame dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Ruddo Ryokale's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
The fight moves into the clinch position. Absame breaks the clinch.
Ryokale thuds his right hand into Absame's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Ryokale tries to close the distance and clinch up but Absame swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ryokale misses with a combination

That's one minute gone in the round. Ryokale working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Ryokale tries to move into full mount but can't pass Absame's legs. Absame is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ryokale's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ryokale lands a nice short elbow. Absame looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ryokale is trying to control. Absame wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Absame misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Absame flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Ryokale must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryokale has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Absame to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ryokale is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Absame pulls down on the head and he's put Ryokale to sleep! This one is all over!
