Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

It looks like Blinky Billy has been cut.
Mendoza closes the distance but Billy moves to the side
and Billy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mendoza wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Billy lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Mendoza creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Mendoza tries to close the distance and clinch but Billy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mendoza swings for the body but Billy moves out of range.
It looked like Billy was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Mendoza.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice straight punches there by Mendoza. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mendoza.
Billy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

It looked like Billy was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Billy takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mendoza throws a leg kick which misses Billy's front leg but catches the back leg as Billy tries to avoid it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Billy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Mendoza cracks Billy with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Mendoza has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Billy to stand back up!

Jeez, Blinky Billy's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Blinky Billy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
