Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Mma (ranked 2222 p4p, 2929 weight class) and Edwin Lucan (ranked 277 p4p, 349 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Some wild striking there from Lucan.
It looked like Mma wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Lucan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mma's waist but Mma gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lucan off to one side.

Lucan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mma manages to avoid it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mma fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lucan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Mma cracks Lucan on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Lucan falls backwards against the cage. Mma follows up with more strikes that drop Lucan to his knees. Mma keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Lucan! This one is all over!

Jeff Mma decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
