Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Teodoro Chulapa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juliano Pereira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Teodoro Chulapa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juliano Pereira!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chulapa shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pereira's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chulapa lands a couple of elbows.
Chulapa is looking to work some ground and pound but Pereira has wrist control.
Chulapa drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chulapa jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Chulapa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pereira works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Chulapa drops back looking for a leg! Pereira is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pereira manages to kick Chulapa off! Chulapa jumps back into Pereira's guard.
Pereira working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chulapa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chulapa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chulapa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Chulapa lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chulapa postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pereira has his foot on Chulapa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chulapa works his way back into a safe position though.
Chulapa thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Chulapa thows a big elbow that misses.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Chulapa.
Pereira is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Chulapa off and has taken his back!
Chulapa rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Pereira is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Chulapa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pereira.

Pereira seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Chulapa is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
