Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ala Potku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Fokker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Potku's entrance music is Pantera - Drag the Waters. A fine choice. Roy Fokker told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potku moves out of range as Fokker strikes. The fight stays on the outside here - Fokker looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Potku fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Fokker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Potku looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Fokker seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Fokker wants to control from the top but Potku keeps moving. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Potku yanks on the arm and Fokker is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Potku.
