Bystrom tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bystrom throws a lazy head kick
letting Lemieux counter with a right hand.
It looks like Torkel Bystrom has been cut.
Lemieux misses with a hook. Bystrom ducked under it nicely.
Bystrom unleashes a big counter combination but Lemieux bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Lemieux throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Lemieux has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Bystrom throws a head kick that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lemieux fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Bystrom lands a big head kick that sends Lemieux tumbling to the mat! Bystrom takes a step backwards and waves Lemieux back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Lemieux thuds his right hand into Bystrom's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

enabling Bystrom to counter with a crisp jab.

and Bystrom comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Lemieux stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Bystrom is on him like rabid pit bull! Lemieux slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Torkel Bystrom!
