Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Nibbs (ranked 5323 p4p, 25236 weight class) and Mike Rogan (ranked 560 p4p, 703 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Christopher Nibbs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Rogan! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nibbs tries for a takedown but Rogan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. No joy there for Nibbs, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nibbs drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rogan is trying to improve his position. Rogan is still trying to improve position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nibbs is looking to take a break and control but Rogan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rogan is trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nibbs controlling the position. Nibbs landing a few strikes. Rogan struggling a bit here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nibbs staying calm. Nibbs in side control, throwing shots but Rogan defends. Nibbs works to advance to full mount. Rogan defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Nibbs postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rogan looks a forlorn figure.
Nibbs tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Nibbs looking to control but Rogan is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rogan is looking to improve his position but Nibbs isn't that keen on the idea. Nibbs landing punches. Nibbs goes for an armbar but Rogan turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Rogan. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Rogan working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Rogan stopping the sweep attempt from Nibbs. Nibbs seems keen to control Rogan's posture. Rogan trying to control but Nibbs is working from the bottom. Rogan stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nibbs lands a really nice looking cross but Rogan seems unphased.
Nibbs thuds his right hand into Rogan's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Mike Rogan has been cut. No joy there for Nibbs, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rogan has a takedown stuffed. Rogan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Nibbs at a distance.
Nibbs throws a head kick that misses. Rogan scores with a nice right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nibbs stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nibbs wants it to stay on the feet. Nibbs misses with a head kick.
Rogan with the counter takedown but Nibbs avoids it easily. Nibbs fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rogan to the ground. Nibbs is now in Rogan's guard. Rogan is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christopher Nibbs dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mike Rogan's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Nibbs keeps the fight on the outside. Rogan has a takedown stuffed. Rogan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nibbs swivels and escapes. Rogan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nibbs.
Rogan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nibbs swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nibbs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rogan wants to counter the offense by Nibbs and move into the clinch position. Christopher Nibbs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nibbs throws a head kick that misses. Nibbs fails to land the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nibbs lands a slapping body shot.
Rogan dives in and grabs Nibbs's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nibbs pushes down on Rogan's head and hops out. Christopher Nibbs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Rogan. Nibbs with a body punch. A glancing blow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Nibbs.
Rogan is breathing heavily. Good leg kick by Nibbs. Rogan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Nibbs keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Rogan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nibbs avoids it really well and circles away. Rogan tries to keep at a distance but Nibbs has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Nibbs. Nibbs prevents the takedown attempt.
Nibbs breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rogan throws a sloppy head kick and Nibbs moves out of range easily. Nibbs tried to counter with a leg kick but Rogan avoided it. Nibbs scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rogan doesn't seem bothered though. Nibbs drops Rogan with a beautiful combination! Rogan stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Nibbs is looking for the KO!
Rogan is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nibbs throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rogan. Rogan is still on wobbly legs! Can Nibbs finish him? Nibbs throws a sloppy head kick and Rogan moves out of range easily. A punch combination from Nibbs misses. Rogan with the counter takedown but Nibbs avoids it easily. Rogan seems to have recovered his senses. Nibbs will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rogan takes a jab right on the kisser.
Nibbs connects with a right that clearly hurt Rogan. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Nibbs proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Rogan collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Christopher Nibbs!
