Peterson blocks a head kick by Bonner.
Bonner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Peterson.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Peterson! But no joy.
Bonner misses with a wild body shot.
Bonner connects with a leg kick.
Peterson slips a jab from Bonner.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bonner.
Bonner throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Peterson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bonner thinking.
Peterson slips a straight right by Bonner.
It seemed like Peterson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Bonner fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Peterson.
Bonner swings for the body but Peterson moves out of range.
Peterson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Peterson walks into a stiff left hand from Bonner.
Bonner takes a swing at Peterson's ribcage but misses.
Bonner shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Peterson eats them both and turns towards Bonner to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Bonner throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Peterson is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

Myke Bonner was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
