Chulainn is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Cu Chulainn has been cut.
No joy there for Gruff, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chulainn throws a jab but it's blocked by Gruff.
Chulainn swings for the body but Gruff moves out of range.
Gruff lands a big right hand that sends Chulainn crashing to the mat! Gruff stays standing though and waves Chulainn back to his feet!
Chulainn is rocked!
Chulainn scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gruff was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Gruff looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Chulainn misses with a right hand
and Gruff counters with a nice right hand that sends Chulainn toppling to the canvas! Chulainn scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Gruff finish him?!
Chulainn is still on wobbly legs! Can Gruff finish him?
Chulainn throws a predictable looking body shot
and Gruff counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Chulainn out cold! What a finish! Gruff is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Buster Gruff!
Buster Gruff is the new heavyweight champion!
In his post fight interview, Buster Gruff started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
