And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Carpenter!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.

Carpenter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stienis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Stienis is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Carpenter asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Stienis is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Carpenter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stienis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Carpenter shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Carpenter was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

That was a close round but I would say that Rita Stienis will probably get the nod.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
