Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Newland (ranked 2949 p4p, 3451 weight class) and Amin Farrokhi (ranked 303 p4p, 347 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

Farrokhi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Farrokhi drops Newland with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Newland looks back up at him and smiles so Farrokhi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Newland is rocked!
It looks like Max Newland has been cut.
Farrokhi weaves into range and cracks Newland right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Newland goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Farrokhi is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Amin Farrokhi!
After the fight, Amin Farrokhi was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Max Newland was interviewed post fight and said 'Oh come on dude, I lost, I didn't die...stop being so dramatic!'.
